A number of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan was noticeably absent from Kimye's wedding, including Brody Jenner. The reality star recently opened up about his absence, putting to rest those pesky Kim Kardashian, Kanye West feud rumors.
Despite a number of rumors to the contrary, Brody Jenner is not feuding with Kim and Kanye. At least that's the story Brody is sticking with.
The reality star finally broke his silence about not attending Kimye's nuptials in Paris on his web series, Brody Jenner & Dr. Mike Dow Podcast. According to Perez Hilton, it was simply a work commitment that got in the way:
"Realistically, I had work commitments and it was a long way away. We talked about it! It was very simple. After I got the invite, I said, 'Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend but I wish you the best. I love you'. And she was fine with it. So if she's fine with it, why is everybody else not okay with it?"
Of course, many aren't buying that excuse. After all, Rob previously expressed doubt about even being invited to the ceremony.
In a December 2013 print edition of OK! Magazine, Brody told readers that he wasn't sure if he was invited to Kim's wedding:
"Well, you never know with the family. I didn't get invited to the engagement, so you never know."
And those statements followed Brody's revelation that he didn't spend Thanksgiving with the Kardashians either, telling Life & Style in November 2013:
"The Jenners have their own Thanksgiving. We get the family together. We have about 20-25 people from the Jenner side over and we have fun. It's just about family. We eat a lot of food."
