It seems the entire world is trying to distance itself from Instagram feet model Avril Lavigne and her racist "Hello Kitty" stereotypes. Sum 41 frontman and Avril's former husband Deryck Whibley finally dropped Lavigne's name after adding the handle flowing their 2006 wedding. Rumor has it that current husband and Nickleback frontman Chad Kroeger Is also ready to split. According to some reports the fact the Avril has reportedly taken here engagement ring off is a clear indicator that she too is ready for divorce. To top it all off internet personality Tess Paras has created a parody of Avril's stereotype laden hello Kitty video entitled "Hey There, Beaver!"--poking fun at Avy and her Canadian countrymen.
It is hard to say which is going worse right now for Avril Lavigne, her career or her personal life.
After weeks of rumors that Chad Kroeger was on the way out, perhaps to make room for her first love, recovering alcoholic Deryck Whibley, it has been revealed that Whibley is trying to get away from his past with Avril (via TMZ):
"Sum 41 singer Deryck Lavigne Whibley has officially erased Avril Lavigne from his life, and...more importantly, his signature-- a judge just granted his name change."
Word also has it that husband Chad Kroger isn't cutting the mayonnaise anyways.
According to an insider who spoke to OK! Magazine, Avril is so disgusted with her relationship to Kroger, she can barely even bare to think about it:
"The singer was photographed in L.A. without her engagement ring. Avril and Chad Kroeger haven't been married a year, but an insider says they can't trust each other.
"The friend says it's too emotional for Avril to look at her ring.
Speaking of disgusted--folks were none too pleased when they saw Avril's seemingly racist music video for her single "Hello Kitty."
Instead of turning a mountain into a role hill, internet artist Tess Para is turning frown upside down with her hilarious spin on Avril's original video concept called, "Hey There, Beaver."
