American Idol's hottest judge, Jennifer Lopez, is said to be dating Kate Upton's Dancing with the Stars ex Maksim Chmerkovskiy following her very embarrassing public breakup with former boyfriend Casper Smart, who was recently reported to have been caught cheating with transsexual Twitter model Sofia Vissa. J-Lo is still sticking by her story that she and Maks are just friends, but insiders say that is just to keep their burgeoning romance secret while it develops.
It was only weeks ago that the internet broke the news of Casper Smart's alleged affair with transgender Twitter star Sofia Vissa, but word has it that Jennifer Lopez has already moved on from the failed relationship.
According to a supposed insider quoted in OK! Magazine's latest July 14 edition Jennifer already has an under-the-radar romance going with Dancing with the Stars beau Maksim Chmerkovskiy:
"Jennifer and Maksim have been talking to each other since her split from Casper.
"She invited him to the show and he went out of his way to travel to Connecticut to be there.
"Jennifer thinks Maks is the epitome of sexy, has a great body and is an amazing dancer.
"They've been keeping a low profile because they don't want to go public just yet...especially after everything Jennifer has been through over the past few weeks."
When Jenny from the block spoke to a reporter from Extra, however, she outright denied that accusations that she was dating Chmerkovskiy:
"All the time...Give me a break. Just give me so time I need to be alone a little bit."
That's exactly what she would say if she were trying to keep things secret though, isn't it.
On the upshot--Jennifer didn't mind talking about the new found love her newest album is finding on the hip-hop, as well as R&B, charts:
"It's awesome, to be embraced by kind of like your roots... I consider myself to have hip hop roots growing up in the Bronx, to be embraced by that audience you know for me feels good in my heart, feels good in my soul."
Who knew dating someone who got their hand got in the...cookie jar...would be so relatable to the hip-hop community.
