Instagram beauty Taylor Swift is said to have sworn off men indefinitely, despite recent rumors that she is dating Miranda Kerr's ex-husband, Pirates of the Caribbean elf Orlando Bloom, behind bestie Selena Gomez' back. Poor Ed Sheeran has been accused of being the "22" singer's boyfriend so often that even his close friends believe that it is true. Those closest to the 'Red' tourer report that Taye-Taye is as abstinent as an old nun. There is some speculation that Swift's "Old Mother Hubbard" persona is the real cause of her writer block on her new album.
Taylor Swift hasn't officially dated anyone for so long that some friends are starting to fear that the country music singer has eliminated all the stimuli that inspire her famous breakup ballads.
An insider quoted in the July 14 print edition on OK! Magazine blamed Swift's writing troubles on her super-quiet night life:
"When she complained to friends that she's hit a wall, they joked that she just needs some new boy drama to get her back on track.
"She's become a shut-in who spends her free time knitting, baking and doting on her cats...There is no block."
According to "Don't" crooner Ed Sheeran if their rumored romance could serve as source of inspiration for Taylor, she'd be alright.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan Ed complained that the biggest misconception people have about him concerns his relationship with Taylor Swift:
"The world is convinced that Taylor [Swift] and I dated.
"Everyone, even my friends are like, "Yeah, but you did, right?" I haven't.
"I legitimately haven't."
Yeah, but isn't that exactly what Sheeran would say if he and Swift were as hell-bent on keeping their romance as secret as everyone says they are?
