If you have had a conversation with anyone between the age of 12 and 25 lately, than they have probably told you all about Attack on Titan. The manga/anime series is all the rage these days. That is probably why Subaru turned to the series to promote the new Forester earlier in the year. The commercial features the Forester weaving in and out of danger as two Titans (giant human-like monsters) try to destroy it. The commercial ends with the emergence of the massive Colossal Titan (a humongous Titan without skin):
The series is so popular that a live action movie has been commissioned before the second season of the anime could be released (2015). The director of the film, Shinji Higuchi, worked on the Subaru commercial. That gives fans a good idea as to what the live action movie could look like.
