Instagram feet diva Mariah Carey is said to be ready to split from her America's Got Talent husband Nick Cannon, after she reportedly caught the Wild N Out host cheating thanks to private investigators. But Nick's eccentric wife claims that divorce rumors go with the territory when you are as well-known as they are. The "We Belong Together" seductress says that this point in the marriage, she and Cannon find all the wild gossip to be humorous and harmless.
Things are said to have hit the fan when "Butterfly" singer Mariah Carey caught her much younger husband Nick Cannon cheating via some private dicks that she hired to sniff things out.
According to OK! Magazine not only did Mariah figure out that she is done with Nick's two-timing, she is having to drink her way through it:
"Mariah threw a diva fit and started browbeating Nick about being an absentee, no-good husband.
"She gave him hell for being immature and accused him of fooling around with other chicks.
"Mariah's insecure about her age...her boozing is out of control. She's drowning her sorrows in a champagne flute...She's been crying every day.
You can take all that with a grain of salt and a shot says Mariah, because it's nothing but a bunch of BS.
During a revealing interview with Parade, Mariah claimed that at this point in their marriage, she and Nick have learned to laugh at the silly crap they read about themselves on the internet (via Inquistir):
"You kind of have to ignore it because every week it's something different, and if you paid attention to it, it actually probably would start really affecting you.
"There's no merit or truth to it.
"It's kind of humorous, really. It couldn't be further off from the truth, and it really affects the credibility of the so-called newspapers."
Well that really all depends on what those so-called newspapers are selling, doesn't it?
If people were concerned with nothing but the truth...they'd pull the plug on the internet tomorrow.
