Sting Return Contract Update: Undertaker Health for Wrestlemania XXXI As Jim Ross Confirms 2K15 Playable Character

The never-ending contract negotiations between Sting and WWE are still never-ending. So are the rumors surrounding Undertaker's health. While sources say he is back in the gym after the brutal beating he received from Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania XXX, there is also word that he is still badly injured. The dream of seeing Sting take on Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXXI is fading faster every day since both aging wrestlers aren't necessarily pictures of health. However, Sting has been confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming WWE 2K15 video game. Hopefully Jim Ross, who interviewed Sting on Thursday for his upcoming podcast, will be able to get some answers from the enigmatic legend.

Undertaker hasn't been seen in public since his earth-shattering loss to Brock Lesnar ended his undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. The rumor is he is pretty banged up, leading many to question whether he is done for good (via Fansided):

"According to PWInsider.com, The Undertaker is said to still be in pretty bad shape following his WrestleMania 30 injury, and his status for next year's big event is very much up in the air. The way things stand now, a decision as to whether or not Undertaker will be able to compete at WrestleMania 31 likely will not be made until the end of this year at the earliest."

Former WWE commentator Jim Ross is reportedly making his bones as a boxing announcer now, but he is still an active critic and analyst of pro wrestling news via his blog and podcast. On Thursday he interviewed Sting for an upcoming episode for the podcast, and said he is going to try to get as much out of him as possible (via iDigital Times):

"I'm looking forward to talking to him because people are going to want to know - are you coming to WWE? What about The Undertaker match? He's in the big 2K video game, Sting is. So that's a big deal."
