Instagram shoes and clothing designer Jessica Simpson is reportedly trying to design herself the perfect body leading into her July 4 wedding date next week. According to the gossip, weight loss alone has not been enough, and some deformities you just can't get help with down at Weight Watchers. Friends of Daisy Duke say that Jessica has resorted to plastic surgery to bridge the gap between near-perfection and perfect, but it reportedly has backfired. It's said that if not for fiancé Eric Johnson, Jessica would easily go overboard. Simpson's ex-husband Nick Lachey of 98 degrees fame is rumored to be in couples' therapy with his wife Vanessa Minnillo. But according to friend the couple aren't looking to divorce--they co to counseling so they never will want to split.
Word has it that after three years of planning Jessica Simpson is determined to make her wedding to Eric Johnson the most perfect day in the history of celebrity wedding, no matter the cost.
An insider told Life & Style that Jessica tried to reach her goals the old fashioned way, but when that didn't work she hired a professional:
"She worked hard to get her body back, but there were still some things she was insecure about.
"[Jessica] has relied on some cosmetic surgery procedures to look her best for the wedding."
Thankfully, fiancé Eric Johnson has been there to keep the body obsessed sexpot from getting too carried away with the nip-tucking (via Life & Style):
"He tells her when she's looking too frozen...He'd definitely object to her getting any significant plastic surgery, like a boob job or tummy tuck."
A close friend of Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa Minnillo assured OK! Magazine that just because the couple have reportedly been to a couple therapist, doesn't mean they aren't happier than ever:
"They're more in lone today than ever.
"They have a monthly meeting with a therapist to talk about the little things, so that they never escalate into something bigger.
"Nick and Jess never talked enough...He's not going to let that happen again."
Plus Vanessa doesn't gain 198 lbs. evrytime she gets pregnant--unlike someone we could mention--which is always a good thing.
