‘Today’ Show Fed Up Katie Couric and John Molner Dream Wedding; ‘GMA’ Michael Strahan Opens NYC Bar [PHOTO UPDATE]

Former Today show co-host and Fed Up movie producer Katie Couric finally tied the knot to her 51-year-old financier fiancé John Molner in a dream wedding at their East Hampton, New York estate last week. But the Yahoo! World News anchor isn't the only morning show personality celebrating a new beginning in the Empire State as of late. Good Morning America and Live with Kelly and Michael! co-host Michael Strahan has reportedly opened a new lounge in NYC with Noel Ashman, Patrick McMullan, Michael Bregman, and Luis Guzman and Joey McIntyre. So, if you can't get fed at least there is the chance you will be entertained. Who know maybe Couric will open up a Greenwich Village bake shop on Strahan and fiancé Nicole Murphy's big day.

Katie Couric made no secret about leaving all the wedding plans for her boyfriend John Molner to figure out, and it seems to be one of the best decisions she's ever made.

According to Us Weekly's coverage the day was as damn near close to story book as one could ever possibly hope for:

"Moving monments came courtesy of Carrie [Katie's daughter], who sand the Beatles' "I Will," and Ellie [daughter No. 2], who read an E.E. Cummings poem.

"Buses (complete with Motown-packed iPod playlists) whisked guests to Topping Rose House for cocktails in the orchard, followed by dinner (lamb shank or mankfish0 indoors and dessert (strawberry lemon cake) in a restored barn."

Michael Strahan is also, no doubt, celebrating his bog day--announcing the launch of his new NYC lounge, Leonora, set to open in Chelsea.

The former footballer doesn't own the project all on his own, which is a good thing because according to In Touch the place is going to cost a pretty penny to get ready:

"The cocktail lounge is a collaboration between Strahan, NYC late-night royalty Noel Ashman, photographer Patrick McMullan, producer Michael Bregman, and actors Luis Guzman and Joey McIntyre.

"The inspired decor will represent a fusion of the decadent, risqué decor of historic Weimar, Berlin and a more modern aesthetic.

"The 12-foot-high bar comes from the 1800s, and luxe leather banquettes in purple and oxblood will provide comfy seating to guests."

Because, truly, is there really any décor more risqué than that on the historic Weimar, Berlin?
