After Shield Break-Up Roman Reigns Big Push as Stone Cold Steve Austin Prediction Money In The Bank

Add Stone Cold Steve Austin to the list of people who believe Roman Reigns is about to become the biggest star in WWE. Even if he doesn't win the title tonight at Money In The Bank, which he probably won't, he is in the middle of a huge push amidst the break-up of the Shield. Austin's prediction is that Reigns is about to be the golden boy of WWE, but if they're smart they will pace his title run over the next couple of months.

A good start might be a feud with Rusev, according to Chris Featherstone of Bleacher Report. The Russian invasion storyline might be a little hackneyed, but Rusev still makes a good heel and he could help Reigns springboard to the main event pantheon.

Their showdown at the end of the battle royal a few weeks ago was pretty epic, so they could feasibly run a program to build Reigns' momentum (via Bleacher Report):

"This faceoff should not be a one-off exhibition. In fact, this could give Rusev a midcard push while giving Reigns an interesting feud as he methodically and gradually rises to the main-event level."

One man who believes in Roman is Stone Cold Steve Austin. He called Reigns one of three huge stars in the making (via Cage Side Seats):

"There's three guys who have big superstars written on them. I think Bray Wyatt is one of them, Cesaro is one of them, but when I got to mention the guy your asking for is Roman Reigns. He happens to be related to The Rock. Good looking kid, damn good worker in the ring, I want to know some more about his promos. But man, if I got to look at the roster right now and say whose my next megastar, his name is Roman Reigns."
