HBO’s True Blood is all new tonight with second episode of seventh and final season. Recently star Stephen Moyer recently opened up about what is store for his character, Bill Compton, in the new season. Tonight’s all new episode will reportedly feature the return of Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric Northman, in a gay love scene with Ryan Kwanten’s character Jason Stackhouse.
The plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode titled, “I Found You,” reads:
Sookie spearheads a mission to a nearby town to find out what the future holds for Bon Temps. Meanwhile, hostages taken during the H-vamps' attack on Bellefleur's hope a familiar face can lead them to freedom; Lettie Mae desperately tries to channel her family's past; and Vince stirs up a posse to seek justice on their own terms.
Stephen Moyer, spoke with TV Line last year about the changes in store for Bill Compton this season:
“I think that it’s really hard. The characters can’t [always] be who the audience -- or the actor -- wants them to be at all times. That would be dull. A bunch of people loved Bill and Sookie together, but a whole bunch of people didn’t. So you can’t just please this bunch or that bunch. As [series creator] Alan Ball once said, ‘I’m not interested in people being happy.’ And I’ve always said, as soon as you see one of our couples get together, you know [they're] f**ed. As soon as Hoyt and Jessica got together I was like ‘No! They’re going to f**ing kill this, I know they are!” Because [that relationship] was so beautiful… I loved playing [Bill]. I love him. Whether there were things that I feel were done well or badly or right or brilliantly, I love him.”
Moviepilot.com is reporting on the episodes rumored hookup between Jason and Eric writing:
“How about what’s sure to be the most talked-about sex scene in True Blood history? And yes, it’s crazier than that time Bill [Compton (played by Stephen Moyer)] climbed out of his grave and had sex with Sookie [Stackhouse (played by Anna Paquin)] in the graveyard. This same-sex hookup, between two non-gay characters, goes down in Episode 2 of the show’s final season--and trust me, it was worth the wait. I can’t say much more, but in case you’re wondering, this particular “love” scene is accompanied by strings.”
