Mr. Selfridge actor Jeremy Piven, who aside from playing ridiculous Ari Gold on HBO's hit series Entourage only claim to fame is getting mercury poisoning from his sushi intake, is said to be acting a little too high-handed with his co-stars on the Entourage movie set. According to the rumors the PCU alumni is pretty proud of his BBC crossover, despite the fact that it's only recorded because people's DVRs think it's Downton Abbey. Not only is he said to have insulted cast members like Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillion and Emmanuelle Chriqui, the self-important d-dag reportedly snubbed the hard-working crew as well. At least, the pompous windbag happened to confirm that Mike Tyson would be making a cameo during the many conversations he has about himself.
Apparently Jeremy Piven is just as warm and lovable as he appears on stage and screen; or so the rumors go about the Entourage star.
According to gossip rag OK! Magazine, Piven has been passive aggressively putting the whole operation down by constantly talking about how much better it is to work with all his BBC co-workers:
"Jeremy couldn't stop talking about his TV drama Mr. Selfridge and his first-class British co-stars...[referring to them as,] 'the best I've ever worked with in my life.'"
According to the insider who spoke with the publication he even refused to give the crew a proper send-off:
"The other actors signed T-shirts, but Jeremy didn't think he needed to bother."
Jeremy Piven may be one of the most obnoxious people on the planet, but at least he knows the cameo line-up for the new star studded Entourage movie (via Xpose Entertainment):
"I think the movie will be really satisfying. I had a lot of fun doing it and revisiting that character.
"It was exhausting, even more so. Loaded with cameos, so many that I think if it was a drinking game, you'd be drunk 18 minutes in.
''Liam Neeson would show up and be so self-deprecating, playing [himself]. Mark Wahlberg is back, Pharrell Williams, every American sports star that you can think of, Mike Tyson.
"Every day there was a new cameo...We added actors like Billy Bob Thornton who's playing this billionaire tycoon, he was an absolute genius.''
One of the few times that Jeremy Piven has spoken that didn't make you want to punch him in the face.
