Some folks like to tone things down for baby number two--choosing to reuse old cribs and clothes--perhaps because it all feels a little "old hat" the second go-around. Beautiful Instagram saleswoman and former Voice mentor Christina Aguilera is not one of those people. This may be X-tina's second kid, but it's her first with new fiancé Matt Rutler, and the one-time sex-symbol is said to be sparing no expense. Unworried about her net worth, Aguilera is said to have spent near $150k on the new baby's nursery alone. According to the latest gossip news the "Dirty" mother spent $10,000 just on the changing table.
Apparently Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend Matt Rutler aren't ones to count pennies when it comes to keeping their babies in the lap of luxury.
The 33-year-old is singer is said to be pulling out all the stops when designing her new baby's nursery (Christina had first son Max 6 years ago with then husband Jordan Bratman).
An insider told OK! Magazine that Aguilera had gone a virtual spending spree--dolling out $150,000 on the baby's bedroom:
"Christina has three designers working on the nursery.
"She has a $20,000 rocking chair with speaker built in to play lullabies, and she designed a $10,000 changing table, because she didn't want it to look typical and boring."
And figuring in Christina's concert announcement, you can bet that the room will be painted anything but baby blue (via Style Caster):
"Christina Aguilera revealed to some lucky fans at a concert in Malaysia that baby number two was a girl. Then the rest of the world found out after fans posted videos of the reveal of YouTube."
It's nice to see that Christina has found something to sink her creative energy into since the Voice reportedly asked her not to come back.
Perhaps X-tina can design Gwen Stefani's new nursery when she's finished.
