Princess Kate Middleton just can't catch a break from the tabloids. Not only did one disreputable tabloid claim that the palace has confirmed Princess Kate Middleton being pregnant with twin girls, but a new report suggests that she is actually pregnant with a son. Is there any truth to these varying baby bump claims?
Spoiler Alert: No.
Of course, that doesn't stop the tabloids from printing whatever they feel like from week to week. Thus is the case with this week's print edition of In Touch Weekly.
The gossip rag, who is known for getting more things wrong than right, decided to plaster Kate across the cover, proclaiming her pregnancy. Unlike other reports in recent weeks, however, this tabloid suggests that Kate will be having a boy, as Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals:
"Kate's currently 'prepping for the spare heir', according to In Touch Weekly's cover issue. Prince George will be welcoming a baby brother within the next year or so, which should give him plenty of company for play time. Even though it was rumored that Kate and Prince William had wanted to have a baby girl next, who's to say that they'll stop at just two? It's been less than a year since George was born..."
Naturally, this isn't the only report we've seen recently to suggest that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second (and maybe third) child. The June 23 print edition of Star claims that sources at the palace have confirmed that Kate is expecting.
As usual, the disreputable tabloid offered up no real proof to support their claims. They did, however, quote an unnamed source who revealed that Kate and Will were overjoyed to find out Kate's pregnant:
"Sources close to Kensington Palace say that a doubly joyous announcement may be coming soon. William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, recently learned that they're expecting again-and this time, they're having twins."
What do you think about the latest rumors? Is there any truth to claims that Kate is pregnant with a son? How about twins?
