As reported earlier this week, Daniel Bryan is scheduled to appear at the Money In The Bank pre-show Sunday night. The fan favorite, who was recently stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Title, is expected to share his thoughts on his dealings with the Authority. Fans love his aggressive style and his penchant for taking hard knocks and overcoming adversity. One former wrestler who identifies with Bryan's "man of the people" reputation is Diamond Dallas Page. In recent interviews, he has spoken his mind about WWE, Vince McMahon, Bryan and DDP Yoga.
Page recently spoke out on Pro Wrestling Talk Radio about his brief time in WWE. When they absorbed WCW, Diamond Dallas Page was part of what became known as the Invasion storyline.
He said the animosity between the two companies must have still existed after the merger (via Daily DDT):
"I didn't feel it until a couple of weeks after I was there, then I realized (the WWF roster still looked at us at the enemy)."
He also talked about fan favorite Daniel Bryan, who reminds him of himself because they both had to work hard for their success (via Wrestling Inc.):
"It was a lot like Daniel Bryan. There's a guy who has risen to the heights that I never even got to. Everything has worked out for him perfectly, even when it looked like everybody was going to f*** him, it worked out really well. He's one of the real nicest guys on the planet, never mind the business. If it comes easy to you, you appreciate nothing."
In addition to being a former wrestling superstar Page is also a proven entrepreneur. His latest venture, DDP Yoga, is doing well. Page relies heavily on testimonials, both by himself and two of his best friends. Scott Hall and Jake "The Snake" Roberts are two of Page's most loyal followers. They have both achieved success with the program in the wake of serious injuries and bouts with substance abuse (via Benzinga):
"'Jake and Scott both do amazing - it can't get any more rewarding than that,' an excited Page said. 'We have a lot of really awesome stuff happening with the company. So many amazing stories. Changing people's lives -- how many people really do that?'"
