Game of Thrones has a brand new Queen, Queen Elizabeth that is. The matriarch of the Royal Family stopped by the set of the hit HBO series. While she was on the set she stopped by the Iron Throne, where she was met by Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Conleth Hill (Lord Varys) and Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark). and Lena Headey (Queen Cersei). In other Game of Thrones news, series creator George R.R. Martin Skyped John Oliver this weekend to tell him that he killed off three beloved characters.
Queen Elizabeth stopped by the Westeros this week. OK! It was really Northern Ireland, but still. The Queen was escorted around the set by executive producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss. Her Majesty met with severl members of the cast including Jon Snow, (Kit Harington), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Queen Cersei (Lena Headey). However, the Queen didn’t sit on the Iron Throne.
In other news, Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin recently appeared on John Oliver's new series, Last Week Tonight, where he announced that he “killed three of your favorite characters." Where it is entirely likely that he was joking, given the nature of the series, anyone could go at anytime. Check out the video below:
