The status of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres' marriage to Arrested Development star Portia de Rossi is constantly speculated about in the tabloid gossip news, and sources say the 56-year-old comedian will do anything to keep her trophy wife from splitting. There have been rumors that Ellen has allowed everything from Portia getting pregnant with a IVF baby to looking the other way as she sleeps with their new bodyguard, Martin Kristen, who just happens to be Project Runway host Heidi Klum's ex-boyfriend, to stave off divorce. The latest round of whispers suggest that Ellen is ready to start her own version of Oprah Winfrey's O Magazine to give de Rossi a job right by her side--where the alleged drunk can presumably keep an eye on the supposedly wonton cheater.
The insider goes on to tell Star that this new magazine venture could be just the thing to finally bring Ellen and Portia together for good:
"She and Portia are passionate about all sorts of issues--animals and gay rights are high on their list--and of course they would also be able to promote their vegan lifestyle."
