When it comes to Beyonce, who the tabloids claim is pregnant, and Jay Z, divorce rumors continue to fly in 2014. These allegations have only intensified following their now epic elevator fight and the fact that ticket sales for their joint tour, 'On the Run,' have slowed.
Things just keep getting worse for Beyonce and Jay Z. The couple now find themselves in a once unthinkable position-struggling to sale concert tickets.
All Hip Hop was among the first to report on the dwindling ticket sales. Quoting a Showbiz 411 report, Jay Z and Bey have yet to sell out any of their upcoming dates:
"Even on Ticketmaster.com's own system, a quick check shows a very bald stadium, with lots of tickets for sale and official resale. Right now, getting to see the first couple of modern R&B is pretty simple...Beyonce and Jay Z are going to play 17 stadium dates in the US and two in Canada beginning June 25 in Miami. But right now, tickets are available in every city and at every price."
While many outlets have speculated about the reduction in ticket sales, a number of theories currently abound. Chief among them, however, is the elevator fight heard around the world.
In case you've been living under a rock for the past couple of months, Jay Z and Solange Knowles, Beyonce's sister, were caught on camera duking it out in an elevator. To his credit, Jay Z never fired back, while being pummeled by Solange.
Though a bodyguard quickly intervened, the footage still made its way online via TMZ. Since then, the couple has been scrutinized by numerous media outlets. But that was before reports that the couple could soon be expanding their (maybe) happy family, as Celeb Dirty Laundry reports:
"According to the June 23rd print edition of Life & Style, Beyonce is indeed pregnant and it's a little detail that has made her think very carefully about how to handle that little rumor about Jay-Z cheating with Rachel Roy (and Rita Ora and Rihanna and...). Apparently, Bey was thrilled for a hot minute about this pregnancy - but now she is feeling more than a little trapped and obligated to try and work through the mess and shade that inevitably goes with being Jay's wifey."
