Retired CM Punk Married Girlfriend AJ Lee, Newlyweds Forced to Return to WWE After Honeymoon? Rey Mysterio New Contract [RUMORS]

CM Punk just got married to girlfriend AJ Lee after a brief engagement and Punk's apparent retirement from the WWE. Lee has also taken a sabbatical from the company but is expected to return after their honeymoon. Punk himself has coyly indicated that he is retired but he is still under contract until July. And now it has come to pass that Rey Mysterio's contract has just been renewed apparently without consultation with Mysterio. What does this mean for CM Punk? Could they force him to return or at least keep him under contract against his wishes?

WWE Superstar CM Punk's recent nuptials notwithstanding, his public profile has shrunken to basically nothing save a few appearances doing charity work. But fans are still rabid for the "Best In The World" to come back (via Christian Post):

"Fans continually chant 'CM Punk' at live events, clearly wanting the Superstar to return sooner rather than later, but rumors have it that Punk is perfectly content being paid for not working. WWE contracts allow for payment while a wrestler is out of the ring and does not appear anywhere else. Punk was tired of losing and unhappy with the organization as a whole, so he simply walked out."

Rey Mysterio's recent contract extension had more to do with his extensive time off due to injuries. But the clause invoked has folks wondering if the WWE will try to keep Punk under contract despite his obvious lack of interest in returning to the ring (via Bleacher Report):

"CM Punk is a completely different animal. While we don't know why he quit, he was open about feeling incredibly rundown for months in a Q&A session conducted a few days before he walked out. He's also talked about having enough money to retire, and that was three years ago-before he signed his current deal and had his big main event run."
