MVP Kevin Durant Squashes Beef With Rapper The Game After Misunderstanding, Trade Rumors [TWITTER]

Amidst rumors of league MVP Kevin Durant's possible trade to the Knicks following former teammate Derek Fisher Durant had to squash his beef with rapper The Game after the two had it out on Twitter over a bet and a misunderstanding.

A friendly wager between The Game and Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant became a source for feuding after a reporter said Durant was backing out of a $20,000 bet (via Fox Sports):

"Now why @easymoneysniper [Durant's Instagram handle] frontin on the kids homie ?!?!?!? We clearly said..... 'If I made the 3 from NBA range you'd supply the entire @froggallstarsprogram with brand new Kevin Durant shoes'...... 120 kids, close to $200 a shoe equals about $20,000..... How am I lying ???? Just say you a sore loser & you ain't wanna help the kids... (sic)"

Soon enough the situation was resolved as the question was over the issue of semantics. Kevin Durant never bet cash on the shot but instead pledged to donate shoes and clothes to The Game's AAU team (via CBS Sports):

"Had a conversation with @easymoneysniper this morning & we both agreed that there was a miscommunication between the middle party which was 'TMZ' & that the way the camera man presented it to him was as if he bet me $20,000 cash which wasn't the case.... We agreed that if I hit the 3 point shot he would get KD gear & his kicks for all the kids in our @froggallstars. (sic)"

With so much drama in the OKC... In addition to his comedy of errors with the game Durant also has to deal with rumors that he might follow Derek Fisher to New York when he becomes a free agent in 2016 (via ESPN):

"It may be hard to fathom given Durant's impassioned MVP speech, but some of those close to Durant believe that as much as he loves OKC, he may leave in free agency if things don't change."
