SPOILER ALERT: By now you may have guessed that the Deranged Squad Female seen/heard during the Suicide Squad episode of Arrow was actually Batman villain Harley Quinn. Well now Stephen Amell has official confirmed it. Not only that, he also teased that Quinn may return in Season 3. Could we see Arkham Knight actress Tara Strong reprise her role in the CW series?

During his neverending quest to not fail the internet, Stephen Amell recently treated his fans to a special Facebook Q&A, where he may have revealed a spoiler for the upcoming season of Arrow. Amell, was asked by one fan about the Harley Quinn cameo during the "Suicide Squad" episode:

“Hello Stephen I really wanna know was the girl in the prison cell in the suicide squad actually meant to be Harley Quinn?”

Another fan quickly pointed out that it obviously was Quinn. Amell confirmed this, adding:

“Doesn't mean I can't answer... It was absolutely Harley Quinn. Hope she is back - AND OUT OF HER CELL - in Season 3.”

Now the real question is who is going to play Harley if she does show up next season. Two woman played Quinn the last time around. Tara Strong, provided the voiceover for the episode, reprising her role from the Batman: Arkham City/Knight video games.

Despite being credited as Deranged Squad Female, the role was actully confirmed to be Quinn a while back, when the episodes writer Kato Shimizu who tweeted a pic herself alongside voice actress, Tara Strong with the caption:

“Me and the delightful @tarastrong when she came in to do the voice of #HarleyQuinn. #Arrow #SuicideSquad.”

Actress Cassidy Alexa also played the part in a easter egg found only in the episode trailer. Comic Book Therapy spoke to Alexa’s agent, Webster Talent head Andrew Webster, about her breif role in the series::

“Cassidy Alexa is getting a lot of heat surrounding her upcoming ‘cameo’ on Arrow. I’m in the dark as to what the producers have planned for her so we’ll have to find out. She’s a very exciting young actress to keep an eye on.

I’m blessed that CW does like to hire my clients. They’ve established a solid presence on the Hollywood North landscape and look to strengthen those ties with new shows, Flash, iZombie and Tribes, which could be a worthy successor to Supernatural.”
