After Game of Thrones ends tonight you can also switch the dial on over to that other subscription service Showtime and check out the all new episode of Penny Dreadful. Recently two of the show’s stars, Billie Piper (Dr Who) and Timothy Dalton ( The Living Daylights) have spoken out about the new series.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled “What Death Can Join Together,” reads:
“Vanessa's latest vision leads Sir Malcolm, Ethan and Sembene to explore a plague ship in search of Mina. Meanwhile, Van Helsing reveals to Dr. Frankenstein more details about the creature that has taken Mina. Later, Vanessa's night with Dorian unlocks something dark within her.”
Timothy Dalton recently spoke toThe Wrap about the show, telling the publication:
“I can give you the absolute truth, but it is kind of a cliché. I love writing. I love words. I love good drama. When you start reading a story that grips you and involves you and makes you ask lots of questions, that makes you turn the page in excitement about what is gonna to happen next, you know you're reading something good.”
Former Doctor Who actress, Billie Piper, recently spoke to Radio Times at the UK Premiere of the show, comparing Penny to Who:
"I've never been scared by the Daleks myself...As much as [Penny Dreadful] has all these supernatural elements [like Doctor Who] I think it's largely about mortality. It's about lots of people existing on the outskirts of society and becoming one and living with demons and darkness--and I think all of that is pretty scary. Far scarier than a Dalek!"
