Game of Thrones is all new this weekend with the last episode of Season 4. Now the series showrunners and stars are opening up about the epic season finale and teasing the events of Season 5. Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington recently spoke about the “action-packed episode.”
Last week’s episode focused on just the war at the Wall, but this weekend we will check in with all of the Seven Kingdoms.
GOT showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss released a statement to the press about the new episode, as reported by CNN:
"It's the best finale we've ever done, bar none. The performances from our cast, the direction from Alex Graves, the VFX work, the new [music] cues from Ramin Djawadi -- all of it came together in perhaps the finest hour we've produced. We're immensely proud of 'The Children.' And a little intimidated by the episode, because now we have to get back to the business of season five and figure out a way to top it."
Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington recently spoke to Variety at the premiere of his new movie How To Train Your Dragon 2, where he opened up about the final episode of Season 4:
“It’s a big action-packed episode. There’s a lot happens in it that leaves people wanting more, and that’s what we want, people coming back to season five. It doesn’t wrap things up in the same way that the last few episodes of the last few seasons have. It leaves a lot open. I’m excited to see it. It’s one of my favorite episodes I’ve ever done.”
Check out the epic episode for yourself this Sunday on HBO.
