Still recovering from neck surgery, fan favorite Daniel Bryan finally lost the WWE Title on RAW. From a certain point of view this is actually a good thing. Already a proven success as an underdog, he now has something to shoot for again. There is also the element of surprise. Now that we know Bryan isn't officially scheduled to make an appearance for this month's Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View, there are rumors that he will make a surprise return at MITB to steal back the Belt. Or, Belts. Because there are two belts. Lord, God Almighty, why are there two belts?
For those trafficking in rumors of a return to the ring by Daniel Bryan at Money In The Bank it may be just a matter of wishful thinking. Inside sources say he is not ready and won't be for this month's PPV (via Wrestling Inc.):
"There's been speculation that Daniel Bryan could make a surprise return and be a last minute addition to the Money In the Bank ladder match later this year.
"Word is that Bryan making a surprise return at the pay-per-view is highly unlikely and would mean that WWE is working top-level people in the company in regards to his injury.
"Bryan's condition wasn't good a few days ago and he's not healing as quickly as expected."
Bryan might not be healthy enough to wrestle, however, that doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to make an appearance or possibly even try to take the belts.
Another rumor making its way around the tracks is that Seth Rollins' recent heel turn might be part of a larger plan to ignite a feud between Rollins and Bryan (via Bleacher Report):
"... The truth is that a possible rivalry between Rollins and Bryan over the belt does not seem that unlikely at all. They match up well in the ring, as they have similar high-octane move sets and they share intensity in their styles."
