Last week on Game of Thrones, Jon Snow and his fellow Nights Watchmen bravely held Wall and Castle Black, against an overwhelming number of Wildlings, and a few mammoth riding Giants. Now Kit Harington is opening up about the massive battle at the wall. He even recently teased that he might jobless, implying that Jon Snow could die in the Season 4 finale.
Before the episode aired Kit Harington spoke to TV Guide about the bloody battle.
“In this battle, you see who are the men and who are the boys. Jon knows everyone's duty and he's quite prepared to sacrifice his own life for the cause. I think he's a soldier and a leader in that way."
Harrington went on to describe the full scale of the episode:
“It's the most amount of green screen that we've done on Thrones. I've always been proud that Thrones minimizes the amount of green screen that it needs to do, but something like this with giants and mammoths, obviously we needed to use a lot of it. We were out there for a solid month in Belfast doing this, the battle sequence, on and off for a month. It felt like doing a movie of Thrones, weirdly. It's the most I've been involved in a single episode by a long way. It was pretty intense."
Now that the episode is over, Jon Snow has went on a suicide mission to kill the Wildling leader. Now Harrington is teasing that he might soon die in this weeks season finale, telling viewers of Live with Kelly & Michael:
"I don’t want to tell you what happens, but I may be out of a job now."
