In the famous words of Sting, "the only thing that's for sure is that nothing's for sure". The enigmatic wrestler has been largely silent about his negotiations with WWE. Rumors of his return aren't entirely unfounded, as he is definitely in talks to sign a contract. But does that mean he is set to make a debut on RAW soon? A casting call was sent out a few days ago for a body double and an orchestra to film a promo wearing Sting face paint. But like the saying goes...
There is absolutely no mention in the ad of the nature of the footage or its intended use, however, there is speculation that Sting may be set to appear on RAW soon. Or it could be as simple as a DVD cover (via Sports World News):
"According to the listing, the members of the orchestra will be wearing Sting face paint and not actually playing the instruments as music will be dubbed in. The pay for the gig is $650 plus an agency fee to be a stand-in for the orchestra.
"It remains to be seen if this is an ad for an appearance on RAW that night in Cleveland or if it is for something else such as a DVD, but there are rumors circulating that Sting could make his long-awaited WWE debut next week."
Another theory is that Sting might make his way onto the front of WWE 2K15 (via Cage Side Seats):
"Insider reports the production is for an upcoming video game, which may or may not hint at heavy involvement in the WWE 2K15 release scheduled for Oct. 28. It's been rumored Sting would be a playable character, possibly made available for in pre-orders, but this news points to the strong possibility that he'll be the face of the game."
Until anything more solid comes out fans will just have to keep guessing what Sting's next move will be.
