Are you going through Originals withdrawals? Have no fear, Season 2 is on its way with it come two new cast members. The Wire’s Sonja Sohn and Teen Wolf’s Daniel Sharman are expected to turn up on the CW series next season. Phoebe Tonkin has also recently opened up about the dark times that ahead for her character Hayley.
Phoebe Tonkin recently spoke to E! Online about her character Hayley’s dark turn next season:
"We're going to see a very broken, a very lost Hayley. She doesn't know who she is anymore. She not only doesn't know where she came from, she doesn't know who she is right now. It's sad and it's heartbreaking."
The Wire's Sonja Sohn will john the cast in Season 2. Sohn will be playing Lenore, a powerful which who has it out with Klaus.
Sohn will also be joined by Daniel Sharman from MTV's Teen Wolf. Sharnan is set to play a which named Kaleb.
Speaking of wolves, Originals executive producer, Julie Plec recently spoke to Entertaiment Weekly about Season 2, telling the publication:
“Season 2 is going to begin with what we call the werewolf occupation, which is Francesca thinks she’s in charge and has been actually carrying on making rules and exiling vampires and doing all kinds of nasty things, so the first thing on the table is of course going to have to be revenge. And then if and when that’s completed, the question is what becomes of those wolves? There’s a lot of wolves that Klaus was aligned with that were all looking to Hayley as their queen, but now she’s no longer a werewolf, she’s a hybrid, and there’s no love lost there for that species. So they’re going to be kind of stranded without a leader, and we’re going to have to see who steps in and takes that role of alpha. Will it be Jackson? Will it be Oliver? Will Hayley be able to win her way back? What’s going to solidify these wolves in one group, or now that they’ve won the Quarter, are they going to start in-fighting as well?”
