It looks like the Walker name is going to live on even in the Fast franchise films to follow Fast and Furious 7. According to the latest internet news updates, little brother Cody is set to replace Paul, whose autopsy revealed was still alive immediately following the tragic crash that killed him, in the next few flicks. Fast and Furious 6 cast member Jason Stratham is returning in the next film as Ian Shaw, but don't expect to see his supermodel girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley by his side at the premiere. Rumor has it not only has Jake repeatedly refused to propose that they, at least, get engaged to be married, the Transporter ditched his would-be-fiancé's birthday party--leaving the Instagram bombshell furious and heartbroken.
Rumor has it that Cody Walker is doing more than just playing big brother Paul Walker's CGI body double, he is replacing him in the Fast and Furious franchise permanently.
According the an insider who blabbed to the Daily Mail, Cody isn't going to be using lights and magic to fill his brothers shoes; he's going to be taking Paul's job the old fashioned way:
"Paul's character Brian O'Conner will be seen retiring, while his younger brother will join the crew.
"Of course, Cody isn't a replacement for Paul in any way, but the producers were really grateful that he stepped in to help them finish this last film and Cody so likeable and charming.
"It would be a tribute to Paul that Cody carries on the Walker name in the Fast and The Furious movies."
A dubious insider told OK! Magazine that it apparently wasn't enough to refuse to make an honest woman out of her, but the Snatch star had to miss her birthday on April 18, as well:
"Rosie was furious [about it]...They had a huge fight. [Plus] Rosie's pissed because he still hasn't proposed, and he spends all his time partying."
Yeah, but he can do a back flip...you can't beat that.
