Mayweather is laying the groundwork for a trip to England next year. While some have speculated that Khan would be the prospective opponent, Khan's religious restrictions may prevent him from participating (via The Epoch Times):
"'It's been a goal to come to the UK and put on a spectacular event and the plan is to do just that,' he told The Sun newspaper. 'I love all my fans in the UK and I want to go there and give a good show at Wembley before I retire. I plan to come in the near future.'
"He added: 'I want to continue to make history with the mega events we put on.'
"For his part, Khan said that he wouldn't take a fight with Mayweather because it comes during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, meaning he won't be in peak condition."
After the Memorial Day brawl with T.I., the southern rapper did a no comment type of comment when he referred to the incident. Cuz he's from the streets (via BET):
"This is one thing I will go on record to say, whatever did happen - if anything did happen - he may be used to talking after his fights, where I'm from we don't talk after ours.
"'Now ain't nothing else to say. I move forward, I just know I'm pretty as a girl, I could take a picture 10 times over.'"
