MAJOR SPOILERS ALERT: Are the Tony Awards not really your thing. Is the only musical number you care about The Song of Ice and Fire? Than tune on that dial on over HBO and check out the latest episode of Game of Thrones. There are two episodes of the controversial fourth season. All season long the show has building to a battle between the Night’s Watch and the Wildlings. Now Jon Snow actor Kit Harington is opening up about the war at the Wall.
The official plot synopsis for the all new episode titled, “The Watchers On The Wall,” reads:
“The Night's Watch are confronted with the most dangerous challenge to the Wall ever seen.”
Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington recently spoke to TV Guide about tonight’s epic battle.
“In this battle, you see who are the men and who are the boys. Jon knows everyone's duty and he's quite prepared to sacrifice his own life for the cause. I think he's a soldier and a leader in that way."
Harrington added that the battle was so big that they needed a lot of extra help from the green screen:
“It's the most amount of green screen that we've done on Thrones. I've always been proud that Thrones minimizes the amount of green screen that it needs to do, but something like this with giants and mammoths, obviously we needed to use a lot of it. We were out there for a solid month in Belfast doing this, the battle sequence, on and off for a month. It felt like doing a movie of Thrones, weirdly. It's the most I've been involved in a single episode by a long way. It was pretty intense."
Check out all the action for yourself tonight at 9:00 p.m. on HBO.
