Clippers Star Chris Paul Allstate Commercials, Kelly Kapowski B-Day Photo Instagram Wish

LA Clippers point guard Chris Paul, and his fictional twin brother Cliff, are rocking it in the Allstate Insurance commercials. It's obvious that Paul is a star, destined for Hollywood. But he still gets star struck. Admittedly a huge fan of Saved By The Bell, and particularly Tiffany Amber Thiessen. Naturally, then, Paul was flabbergasted by his belated B-Day gift: a signed photo of Kelly Kapowski herself! For Paul it was a wish come true.

Even though it was a month late, Paul vowed to treasure his present forever. Thiessen even wished him a happy birthday on Instagram (via Fox Sports):

"'This is easily one of the best Bday gifts I've ever received in my 29yrs on this Earth,' Paul wrote of the photo, which Thiessen signed 'Chris, Happy Birthday my dear' and punctuated with a heart."

Paul might have been seeing stars after his encounter with his childhood crush, but he might have a promising acting career ahead of him. Since 2012 he has been a spokesman for Allstate Insurance. Recently he has even incorporated his son into the campaign, which preaches that "assisting runs in the family" (via Adweek):

""Twins Cliff and Chris Paul made it their pursuit to pass selflessness on to the next generation. And their children proved to be true prodigies,' says the male voiceover. (With almost no dialogue, the VO tells the story in all the spots.) The ad goes on to show Lil' Chris excelling on the court, and Lil' Cliff doing so off it-by insuring his friends' new tree house 'from his own State Farm branch' (of the tree)."

No word whether Paul's wife had anything to say about the photo.

What do you think? Who was your childhood crush? If you became famous would you freak out if they reached out to you? What if you were married? Do you think it would make your spouse jealous?
