Stephen Colbert Iron Man Tony Stark Beard: New ‘Late Show’ Host Talks Deserter Bowe Bergdahl After Terrorist POW Exchange

Stephen Colbert is Iron Man. OK! Well maybe not, but he did grow a Robert Downey Jr/Tony Stark style goatee. The future Late Show host grew the beard in an effort to support billionaires. The satirist also had a few words to say about the released of Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl. President Obama made waves with critics on both the left and the right when he released five Taliban Prisoners of War in exchange for Bergdahl’s released. Bergdahl allegedly deserted his post before abducted by terrorist.

Stephen Colbert is a true American hero. Who else stands for the billionaires….besides congress and big business? The satirist got in touch with his inner Tony Stark this week in order to take on his guest this week Thomas Piketty. Piketty is the author of a new book capital Capital that purpose the taxation of billionaires up to 80 percent. So Colbert suited up and grew a Tony Stark goatee in order to take down his enemy:

“I grew this in solidarity with my personal friend, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark. You see, if Piketty had his way and Tony was coughing up 80 per cent in taxes, suddenly he’s not a billionaire anymore and can’t afford to be Iron Man. Then who’s saving New York from the Chitauri invasion, Hawkeye? Yeah, after he gets there on the bus.”

Colbert also had a few things to say on the controversial Bowe Bergdahl case. Check the video (Via thecolbertreport.cc.com) below to see comedians comments on the latest scandal to rock the White House.
