Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have been accused of getting a divorce in 2014, as well as Miranda being pregnant. But a recent interview Lambert granted seems to put those allegations at rest.
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton didn't plan to be the subject of tabloids worldwide, but they are certainly making the most of it. When asked by USA Today about the various headlines we've seen in recent months, Miranda had fun with her answers:
[On her marriage] "I'm happy. You'll have to ask Blake how he feels."
[On being anorexic] "I'm not anorexic. I'm not sure if I'm not pregnant, because I'm supposed to be having an alien child. That's the next headline."
[On drinking too much] "The only problem with the drinking is that if he gets up to make a drink and he doesn't make me one, I get (mad). It's like, you better be bringing me a cocktail, too, buddy."
Of course, the tabloids paint a much different picture. Largely, they have accused Blake of destroying his marriage through binge drinking.
One source who spoke to OK! claims that Miranda is fed up with Blake's behavior:
"Miranda told Blake that he's almost 40 years old [he turns 38 in June] and needs to stop with his all-night frat-boy lifestyle. Miranda finally declared that he needs to either grow and mature with her, or she's leaving."
Turns out that Miranda is also sick of drinking, herself. The same insider goes on to reveal that:
"Losing weight has really helped Miranda grow spiritually. She feels like a whole new person. She's realized that she feels much better without staying up all night and drinking alcohol."
