We hope you have enjoyed what little bit of summer you have had already, because you are about to spend the rest of it locked away in doors. OK! Maybe only the 13 hours it takes to burn through the Netflix's original series Orange is the New Black. The hit streaming prison drama, from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan, is about to release its much anticipated second season. The series has already been renewed for a third season, and Laura Prepon, might be coming with it. The former That 70's Show actress recently teased via Instagram that she may reprise her role as Alex Vause, despite rumors that she was leaving the show.
Orange is the New Black Season 2 is just days away.
This season promises a darker tone the last, and judging from last year's season finale its definitely going in that direction. However, Laura Prepon will have a smaller role this season.
Don't worry, Prepon won't be getting released any time soon. The actress recently teased a Season 3 return via Instagram.
Recently Prepon addressed the rumors that the church of scientology made her leave the show because they had issue with her playing a lesbian. Prepron cleared up the matter telling Entertainment Weekly:
“It’s ridiculous because it’s not true. I’m a huge supporter of the LGBT community. I try to put a good spin on it, which is, ‘Okay, cool. People are huge fans of the show and my character and they’re trying to come up with excuses about where I’m going.’ It’s ridiculous and I try to laugh at it...Alex fits me like a glove, man. The fact remains that I want to do Orange, and it’s a matter of trying to balance different aspects of your career.”
