For weeks now, rumors have been flying about Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, chiefly that Blake is pregnant and the couple may be headed towards divorce. Luckily, these rumors have waned following Ryan's new movie being booed at Cannes.
Life and Style is back at it. The goofy gossip rag claims that Blake Lively has picked 2014 as they year she will settle down and start working on having children.
As usual, the magazine offered up no real proof. This seems to be a theme of all the popular tabloids, including OK! Magazine, who recently fueled rumors that Blake and Ryan could be headed towards divorce.
The reports first got started when OK! quoted a source who claimed that Ryan is extremely jealous, even of Blake's co-star Michiel Huisman:
"[Ryan Reynolds] is very possessive of Blake. She's been doing night shoots, and Ryan keeps showing up, which infuriates her. He appears to be worried about Blake's relationship, with her hunky co-star Michiel Huisman."
Though these claims are totally unfounded, one thing that is for certain is that Ryan's new film flopped at its first showing.
Reynolds' new film, The Captive, was among a number of flops at this year's revered Cannes Film Festival. In fact, the audience booed as much as they applauded, as The Wrap reports:
"At a festival notable for a handful of films that have been widely derided, Grace of Monaco and That Lovely Girl foremost among them, Atom Egoyan's The Captive may now hold a real distinction: It could be the first of this year's Cannes films to be greeted with outright boos. The abuse wasn't unanimous at the Friday morning press screening of the overheated child-abduction thriller, but the boos were at least as loud as the applause for a film that at its best will be divisive."
