Calvin Johnson Girlfriend Shocking Molly Wop Ex Threatening, Golden Tate Cheating Rumors, Obama Message

Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Jonnson (aka Megatron) was in the news last week over an incident involving his girlfriend and his ex, with whom he allegedly has a child. Johnson's girlfriend apparently got in his baby mama's face, threatening to "molly wop" her. As if that wasn't shocking enough, teammate Golden Tate (who has been linked to cheating rumors with Seattle QB Russell Wilson's ex) refused Johnson's request to send a message to president Obama?

Johnson has declined to comment publicly on the incident in which his girlfriend Britney McNorton threatened to molly wop Shallyn Blanton. McNorton, who also works for the Lions in the front office, apparently got aggressive after Blanton claims she expressed displeasure about McNorton's presence. Megatron was visiting his child and bringing a girlfriend violated their custody agreement, according to Blanton. The Lions put out a statement (via Detroit Free Press):

"The Lions said in a statement released last week that they were aware of the report 'involving two valued and respected members of our organization.

"'After talking with both individuals, we believe this is a personal matter and will have no further comment.'"

As if Megatron needed another reason to mess up his week, he asked Golden Tate to give the president a message. Tate was part of last year's Super Bowl Championship team who were invited to the White House a few weeks ago (via CBS Detroit):

"'I told him to tell Obama I said, "What's up?"' Johnson said without missing a beat as he laughed. [Tate] responded, he said, 'We can tell him all ourselves next year.'"

Now don't forget (via TMZ):

"For the record, 'Molly Wop' - 'To reach waaay back with your pimp hand, damn near knocking oneself off balance to deliver a massive blow with an inside closed fist to the temple of your hoe or foe.'"
