The New York Philharmonic Biennial program is currently underway and as the title may indicate, Beyond Recall, the performance may not be entirely beyond one's grasp.
If you missed the performance--or, alas, want one more listen--WFMT's nationally syndicated music program Relevant Tones has a recording of the concert for broadcast and can be found on demand, thanks to the NY Phil's website.
In addition to this simulcast, additional performances featuring highlights form the biennial will also air on Tones July 2 and 9 at 7 p.m.
Q2 music, WQXR's contemporary classical stream, will bring you Beyond Recall on June 6 at 3:00 p.m.
In addition, CONTACT! At the Biennial: Solo Works by Young American Composers airs on June 13 at 3 p.m., the final program featuring the world premiere of Christopher Rouse's Symphony No. 4 on June 20 at 3 p.m.
Q2 will also make concerts available for 30 days on their website.
Since Game of Thrones is the popular taste, here's the NY Phil performing the opening lines.
