Kiefer Sutherland’s 24: Live Another Day reboot is all new tonight. The ratings for the series have continued to decline, going into the halfway point. Meanwhile, Heroes actress Ali Larter has opened up about the reboot of the NBC series.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s hour of 24: Live Another Day, "Day 9: 4:00 PM-5:00 PM," reads:
“Tensions between President Heller and Prime Minister Davies boil over, until one of them decides to take matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Jack has a plan for tracking down Margot, but it involves using someone unexpected--and unsuspecting--as bait; and back at the CIA in London, Jordan raises suspicions about Kate's husband.”
Last week’s new episode was the lowest rated show of the season, but not by much. Considering that it was also Memorial Day in the US, it makes sense that the show would have dropped a few points. However, the series has been a steep decline from its opening numbers.
24: Live Another Day is not the only show getting an limited series reboot. NBC is bringing Heroes. The new series Heroes: Reborn was announced earlier in the year.
Originally series actress Ali Larter recently spoke about the show, during Wondercon, telling fans:
"When I saw that, I was like, 'Wow! Great!' I'm super happy for [creator Tim Kring], and if that's what he wants to do I think that's fantastic.I haven't talked to the rest of the cast. I don't even think it's written yet, so I don't even know what they're going to do with it. I just know that my face was splashed all over, and I got about a thousand calls from it...It was an amazing time in my life. The first season of the show will forever be one of the best times I've ever had. It was just a really special time. For that, I hope that it work out well for them, and I wish them only the best."
