Jamie Murray has tied the knot with her fiance Bernie Cahill. The former Dexter actress and Sharon Stone’s ex were married last week. The wedding came just in time to get everyone excited about the Season 2 premiere of Murray’s SyFy series, Defiance. The renewed show is gearing up for its big premiere this month.
Jamie Murray and Bernie Cahill got married last week in Bail. The couple were wed in a private ceremony held at the Amandari resort in Ubud. Murray spoke with People about the nuptials, telling the publications “It was pretty epic and magical."
Murray’s SyFy channel series, Defiance is about to air its second season on June 19. Last year one of the show’s stars, Grant Bowler teased the new desperate and dark turn for the characters during the 2013 NYC Comic Con:
"If anything's happened in between series, it's that everybody lost their jobs. So that thing that everyone distracts themselves with has been taken away from all these characters they're not now left only with all their flaws, what they're lacking, what they're missing and what they've lost."
That is not the only change that is being made this year. Terminator star Linda Hamilton is joining the series its sophomore season. Defiance developer Kevin Murphy recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Hamilton’s casting:
“Her character will simultaneously make you cry and scare the crap out of you.”
Actress Julie Benz also chimed in, adding:
“I think my response was … ‘Holy s**t. How the f**k did we get her’?”
