‘Crisis’ Gillian Anderson Talks David Duchovny ‘X-Files’ Dating Split; Joins Haley Joel Osment ‘I’ll Follow You Down’ Time Travel Movie [VIDEO UPDATE]

Gillian Anderson's NBC action-drama Crisis may have been cancelled, but that doesn't mean the X-File actress is going to be out of work. Not only is there talk that Hannibal wants her back in Season 3, but she also has already signed on to split her time between a new BBC series, as well as a Broadway run as Blanches Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire. In addition to all that she is also staring alongside Sixth Sense child star Haley Joel Osment--now all grown up--in a new movie about traveling through time entitled I'll Follow You Down. But more exciting that any career updates was the revelation that she finds the idea of being in a relationship her X-Files boyfriend David Duchovny to be a very "nice idea" and admits that there is definitely a sexual "attraction" there.

Crisis star Gillian Anderson was finally candid about her feeling for her famed X-Files co-star David Duchovny in a recent interview promoting her network series as well as her up-coming Broadway appearance in Tennessee Williams' A Street Car Named Desire.

Gillian made sure to dismiss the rumors that they had dated in the past, or would likely ever date; but did admit there was an attraction and desire there to more than just friends.

When asked during the Huff Po Live interview about the gossip that she and David were seeing each other intimately during their Comic-con run she, her denials revealed that a future together couldn't really be ruled out:

"Well now that it is over I can tell you...No.

"It's a nice idea, but it's not going to happen.

"I think we know each other too well, we know each other than our spouses at any time when we may have had spouses.

"There is an attraction...maybe even more than a [friend] attraction...but anyways."

Despite all this extra work, she might even pop up in Duchovny's new show Aquarius...as Gillian, no doubt, still has a contract with the network.
