Jadeveon Clowney No. 1 Draft Pick Impresses Coaches, Pranks Photographer Sike After Contract Amount Speculation

Standout rookie prospect Jadeveon Clowney is already living up to his high expectations, despite what may be a secret penchant for practical jokes. While the No. 1 draft pick is impressing his coaches, he is already establishing a jovial rapport with the press. Just check out his recent, awesome sike on a TMZ photographer.

For those of you who don't know what sike is, God help your pathetic soul.

Ok, ok. Sike means "just kidding" and if you're under 21 you might get a pass. But Clowney sure knows what sike means and he did it up nice for a TMZ photographer this week. After playing coy about the fact that he hasn't yet signed his rumored-to-be $22 Million contract, the flower lady came by their SUV. Clowney then made like he was going to re-gift the flower to the photographer, but then, "SIKE!" (via TMZ):

"We knew it was coming ... we saw it from a mile away ... but our TMZ photog still fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book last night ... courtesy of Jadeveon Clowney.

"The 1st pick in the NFL Draft hit up Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills with some friends last night ... and though he wasn't talking much, he still felt like screwin' with our guy."

So good.

But despite his late night clownin' Clowney has shown up to play at the Texan's rookie training camps, drawing compliments from his coaches for his attitude and work ethic (via Post and Courier):

"Clowney entered the franchise, walked onto the practice field and worked hard, just as [linebackers coach Mike] Vrabel expected...

"'I think his attitude, much like all of our guys, their attitude has been great,' Vrabel told ESPN.com on Thursday. 'They've come in, they've tried to be vocal in the meeting rooms, not always right, but at least they have the confidence to try to make the calls... He's somebody that we're excited about because he has the natural ability, but he also has the attitude to want to learn...'"
