Stunning movie star Emily Blunt is pregnant no longer, but instead of being post-partum after baby Hazel's birth, she is happier than ever. The Edge of Tomorrow feet bombshell recently remarked that she didn't understand why people claimed that marriage leads to unhappiness and divorce. Emily is still so happy to be married to her Office husband John Krasinski that she could do a split. It's so hard to bring Blunt down, in fact, that when confronted with the insulting remarks that she off-handedly made towards co-star Tom Cruise--back in the day--she just laughed.
Emily Blunt is as happy to be married to her husband and father of her child John Krasinski now, as she was the day the first tied the knot. If not happier.
The 31-year-old svelte British sex-symbol told Harpers Bazaar that she could imagine why anyone would say that marriage kills relationships, because she has found the opposite to be true (via Telegraph):
"I'm with someone who makes me incredibly happy...I'm not one of those people who subscribe to the idea that marriage takes the romance out of things. I think it gets better, it deepens.
"We have a blast."
Of course, Emily isn't one to focus on past regrets, when Us Weekly asked about her comment from 2005 that she would rather struggle as impoverished theater thespian than, "as a spear carrier in a Tom Cruise movie"--she just shrugged it off:
"That is so funny...Well, at least I'm not a spear carrier."
As for whether or not Emily has any thought on how motherhood affects marriage, Blunt says it is too early to tell (via Telegraph):
"I don't know if you can compute it at the time.
"Not until you're holding that little body, which is just so incredible. I cry a lot now.
"There's something about the purity of these little things that is really cool."
Right...that just sound like that effects of all those pregnancy hormones haven't worn off yet.
