Charlie Cox has left the Atlantic city and is heading to Hell's Kitchen. The Boardwalk Empire actor has been cast as the lead in the Netflix’s Daredevil series. Recently Ben Affleck opened up about his time as the Man without Fear, blasting the 2003 film. However, the actor has credited the film with helping him find his wife, Jennifer Garner, as well as inspiring him to become Batman.
Charlie Cox has official been cast Matt Murdock, A.K.A. Daredevil in the upcoming Netflix mini-series. Cox is best known for his role as Owen Sleater on the hit series HBO series Boardwalk Empire.
The last man to dawn the Daredevil mask was Ben Affleck, and we all know that turned out. The Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice star recently blasted the original film Daredevil. telling Playboy that it was the movie the worst one that he has ever done.
"Its the only movie I actually regret. It just kills me. I love that story, that character, and the fact that it got f****d up the way it did stays with me. Maybe that's part of the motivation to do Batman."
However, it was not all bad. That movie did end with him dating his wife, Jennifer Garner:
"Look at Daredevil. That's where I found my wife. We met on Pearl Harbor, which people hate, but we fell in love on Daredevil. By the way, she won most of the fights in the movie, which was a pretty good predictor of what would happen down the road--my wife, holding swords and beating the living s**t out of me."
