It's been a big news week for Selena Gomez. Not only did a tabloid claim that Selena Gomez got pregnant and had a miscarriage while she was dating Justin Bieber, now her grandfather gave an interview about her childhood.
In a recent interview with Radar Online, Ricardo Gomez revealed that he is Selena's grandfather. The elderly Gomez gave more details about Selena's rehab stint, telling the publication:
"She was working a lot. She was exhausted. She hardly takes some time out. There was some pressure, first because it's a lot of work. The doctor was telling her she needs to take some time out. It's just too much pressure what she's going through. It's just too much! She doesn't have a single day's break...It's getting to the point with all this pressure...that it's too much."
Of course, the real news surrounding Selena Gomez is that she was pregnant with Justin Bieber's baby at 18. Not only did In Touch claims that she was preggerz, she thought that it would keep her and Bieber together forever, as Travelers Today reports:
"Another false story reported by the tabloid suggests that Selena Gomez, who was pregnant at the age of 18, really wanted to keep the baby and is greatly convinced that it was meant to keep her and Bieber together forever. Bieber, on the other hand, reportedly didn't feel the same way. Her boyfriend's team felt that her conception with their child would ruin his career and would destroy his reputation as a heartthrob."
As her grandfather indicated, this could have something to do with her now confirmed rehab stint. Although, a recent report by Hollywood Life suggests that Gomez and Bieber have reunited their relationship. According to one insider who spoke with the publication, Justin is relishing every second he gets to spend with Selena:
"Justin isn't trying to cause problems between Selena and her family. That's not his style. All the boy wants to do is keep her close to him through any and all circumstances. He can't control what her folks think of him. He loves her. He can't control how her family and friends feel about he and Selena. He's not even going to try. He's just going about his days, with her, and loving and basking every second of it."
