Rumors continue to swirl that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are headed towards a divorce. Their relationship may under more of a strain following rumors that a jealous fight occurred, and Ryan's latest film received boos at Cannes.
It's hard to believe that Ryan Reynolds is going through a rough patch in his career, but that's exactly what ABC News is reporting:
"Ryan Reynolds is in a slump. His latest film, The Captive, was booed at its Cannes' film festival premiere last week. The 37-year-old actor, who earlier walked the red carpet with his wife Blake Lively, 26, skipped out on the after party following the disastrous screening."
Reynolds' new film, The Captive, was among a number of flops at this year's revered Cannes Film Festival. In fact, the audience booed as much as they applauded, as The Wrap reports:
"At a festival notable for a handful of films that have been widely derided, Grace of Monaco and That Lovely Girl foremost among them, Atom Egoyan's The Captive may now hold a real distinction: It could be the first of this year's Cannes films to be greeted with outright boos. The abuse wasn't unanimous at the Friday morning press screening of the overheated child-abduction thriller, but the boos were at least as loud as the applause for a film that at its best will be divisive."
Of course, the real rumors surrounding the couple is that they may be headed towards divorce. One source recently told OK! that Ryan can't control his jealousy:
