Terrell Owens is broke and unemployable, so said he in a recent document issued to the judge presiding over his divorce. After ex-wife's attempted suicide in February, Owens, via his attorney, claimed that Rachel Snider was not only after his money, but also on destroying his image. Despite this, and despite the fact that no team in the NFL will touch him, the ex-NFL star continues to sell himself as a viable prospect.
T.O. has had a series of public struggles over the last decade plus as a professional athlete. Of late he has been going through a very public divorce from wife of three days (that's right, three days) Rachel Snider. Though her recent suicide attempt did not affect their already broken relationship it may impact the legal proceedings in the months to come.
Snider reportedly left because he accused her of only marrying him for his money, which it turns out he doesn't really have. She also claims to still love Owens (via New York Daily News):
"Snider - who still goes by Rachel Snider/Owens on Twitter - said despite the breakup, she still has a soft spot for Owens.
"'No matter our problems he will always have a place in my heart,' Snider tweeted Wednesday."
Sounds pretty crazy, huh? Probably about as crazy as an NFL team would have to be to sign T.O. But he seems confident that if someone would just give him a chance he could still perform (via TMZ):
"TMZ Sports spoke with T.O. out in Studio City, CA earlier today -- and the 40-year-old future Hall-of-Famer literally patted himself on the back about his current skills ... saying both he and his boy Chad Johnson could compete on any NFL roster. "
He also said he has never had any off the field problems.
Sometimes you just can't talk to crazy.
