After engagement rumors and appearing topless in public, Lady Gaga recently announced some new 2014 music tour dates. This latest development comes after Gaga reportedly bombed at Madison Square Gardens.
If you happen to be a fan of Lady Gaga and live in Australia, then you are in luck. Gaga has added a number of new tour dates in the land down under (via Music Feeds):
Wednesday, 20th August
Perth Arena, Perth
Saturday, 23rd August
Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Sunday, 24th August
Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Tuesday, 26th August
Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
Saturday, 30th August
Allphones Arena, Sydney
Sunday, 31st August
Allphones Arena, Sydney
If you want to see Gaga, you just need a ticket (which are still available). And if you need a ticket, you just need one other thing-to be filthy rich.
The tickets range from $100 to thousands.
Of course, it may not be worth the extra cash. After all, her Madison Square Garden performance was wildly bashed, even by acclaimed music magazine Rolling Stone.
Rob Sheffield is not a fan of Lady Gaga...at least not the Lady Gaga of 2014. In his May 14 article for Rolling Stone, the author bashed Gaga's recent performance at Madison Square Garden, telling readers:
"Nostalgia might be for geeks, as Lady Gaga let us all know in 'Applause,' yet it's tough not to miss the Gaga of four years ago, when she ruled as the planet's most voracious pop goddess, slaying crowds with the glam-punk sleaze overkill of her Monster Ball Tour. Last night, in a Madison Square Garden homecoming gig, hardly anything in her performance would suggest it was the same girl. 'Check yourself - make sure you're being you,' she urged the crowd. Same, Gaga. Literal same."
