Twitter beauty Taylor Swift says she is taking a break from the dating game after reportedly getting her heart split in two by John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner and Zack Effron plus countless other boyfriends. Though that hasn't stopped the media from attaching the "22" singer to everyone from Divergent's Theo James to Pirates of the Caribbean's Orlando Bloom, who was recently seen out partying with Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. Despite constantly being on tour supporting her album, 'Red', there are new rumors surfacing the Taye Taye and Scrubs comedian Zack Braff are romantically linked. The 24-year-old's rep claims the news is totally bogus; Zack and Taylor haven't even ever had dinner together.
Taylor Swift is the super star that proves the old folksy adage: lucky at life unlucky in love.
Taylor has been very publically attached to seemingly dozens of famous or quasi-famous suitors over her short career and broken-up with them all; so in light of her notable failures at coupling the young woman has decided to remove herself from the dating pool, until she gets a little better at navigating its waters (via EntertainmentWise):
"My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting. That's just a phase I've been in lately. I don't think this should be how I proceed in life. It's important to be self-aware about these things because you don't want to end up with that guy.
"I think I need to sit it out for a while so it can change."
After reports recently emerged that Swift and Garden State director Zack Braff where an item, Taylor Swift's official rep told Us Weekly that that was just about the silliest thing she'd ever heard:
"Despite the rumors, Taylor has never been on a date with Mr. Braff, and he has never been to her home...Like, never. Ever."
So you see...not even Zack Braff is interested in seeing Swift romantically, but her latest arena aconcert dates have been selling out in a matter of minutes, not hours.
