Big Band Theory's Jim Parson's character Sheldon may well be married before he is. During a recent visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Show the 41-year-old actor revealed that he and his long-time boyfriend Todd Spiewak may never get engaged. But not because they don't plan to stay together in the future; the couple are just so content, they would hate to screw anything up now. Getting married seems to be one of the most fulfilling things that co-star Kaley Cuoco and her husband Ryan Sweeting have ever done, and they don't seem to have any wedding regrets. Cuoco just sold her old L.A. bachelorette pad house for a cool 2.5 million.
Jim Parson and his partner of more than 11-years Todd Spiewak are just too happy together to get married, or so the Big Bang Theorist says, anyways.
During a recent visit to Ellen DeGeneres day time talk show, Jim was clearly caught of guard by the happily married lesbian's inquiries about his own future gay wedding (via E! News):
"I don't know...That's a hard one. I mean, you get so used to your life as it is that...11 years is enough to know.
"He's not discouraging it...I feel like I haven't been enthusiastic enough about it and now I feel like I'm a loser for the cause."
Parsons admitted in the past that his relationship with Todd was never about facing down the establishment--it's just about love (via E! News):
"I've never considered myself an activist...I've never considered my relationship with Todd to be an act of activism.
"Rather simply, it's an act of love, coffee in the morning, going to work, washing the clothes, taking the dogs [out]--a regular life, boring love."
More than ecstatic to build a new life with her athletic hubby, Kaley just unloaded her old L.A. home reports Forbes:
"Newly married actress Kaley Cuoco Sweeting has just sold her former bachelorette pad in Sherman Oaks, CA for $2,565,000.
"Kaley and her brand new professional tennis player husband, Ryan Sweeting, sold the home after listing it in March 2014 for $2,795,000."
It's good to know that now everyman is going to be senselessly pressured into getting married regardless of sexual orientation.
And That's progress to be proud of.
