Is Stephanie McMahon jealous of her husband Triple H's relationship with Shawn Michaels? There have been rumors and whispers, particularly during the WWE's DX storyline in the late 90's, but did Steph actually think the two were gay? Apparently she did, although she doesn't seem so threatened by Michaels these days.
According to McMahon in a recent interview with The Mirror, she thought Triple H and "Sexy Boy" Shawn Michaels were awfully cozy (via Cageside Seats):
"My first impression of Triple H... Well, I was in college watching DX on Monday Night Raw and I have to say that, um, I was very intrigued with DX. And I actually did wonder if -- I'm going to get so killed for this, maybe I won't say it -- I wondered if Triple H and Shawn didn't have more than a friendship going on. No, they were so much fun. Anyway, as soon as I met the man I obviously fell in love with him and it was love at first sight."
Good save, Stephanie. The WWE's most intense bromance of all time could be intimidating to a lesser woman, but she got The Game to put a ring on it so at least she has won the war officially.
Maybe they are just really good at sharing.
Most people forget that the two shared a couple of steamy on-screen kisses back in the day. Thank God for the internet.
